UGC & creator rate calculator
A rate calculator estimates what to charge for a piece of creator content based on the platform, your audience, the deliverable, and the usage rights the brand wants. Fill in the fields below for a suggested range you can defend.
A starting range based on 2026 market benchmarks. Adjust for your niche, engagement, and the brand's budget.
How the estimate is worked out
The calculator is deliberately transparent, because a rate you can't explain is a rate you can't defend. It starts from a base range and then layers on the extras a brand is really paying for.
- Base rate. For influencer posts, the base comes from your follower tier, adjusted for the platform (TikTok sits below Instagram for equivalent reach) and the deliverable (video earns a premium over static, long-form integrations more again). For UGC, the base is set by your experience level, since the brand is buying the content rather than your audience.
- Usage rights. Added as a percentage of the base: roughly +40% for three months of paid ads, +75% for six months, +110% for twelve, and +150% for perpetual use. Organic-only adds little to nothing. This is where creators most often leave money on the table.
- Exclusivity. Agreeing not to work with competing brands restricts your future income, so it adds around +50%.
- Rush. A turnaround under three days adds about +50% for the disruption.
